Receiving ‘New Rides’ by Text messages

If your profile is set up to receive ‘New Rides’ by text message; we will send you all the new jobs by text message! We can send you any new requests by text message, and this way you are guaranteed to be the one of the first ones to get it, so if you’re not online or not using a smartphone and you’re always on the go, this could be the perfect solution for you.

Quoting back by text message

You can now quickly send quotes for ‘New rides’ back by text message! You can send quotes for jobs you are interested in by simply replying to the text message. Each job has a unique number so if you want to quote for a particular job, just reply using the job number followed by your price. Please just send those 2 numbers; don’t add any other text or characters, as we would be unable to process the request:


For example, when quoting £65 for job number 55678, simply reply in the format (job/price):  55678 65

Example 1: 55678 65 Correct

Below are examples of some incorrect formats, please don’t use these as we are unable to process them:

Example 2: Job 55678 65 Wrong
Example 3: 55678 £65 Wrong
Example 4: J55678 65 pounds Wrong

 

How to setup the text messaging service?

  1. Simply follow the instructions to log into your account on www.cabmania.com 
  2. Click on ‘My Profile’ tab
  3. Click in the check box which says, ‘Yes, Please subscribe me to the text messaging service’

Do you use Cabmania.com on a smartphone?

For iPhone / Android users, we are working on our mobile interface at the moment which will allow you full control as you currently have on our main website. Once we release it we will notify you.
In the meantime, you can use the website currently as it is on your device.
